71|What is the Intent of Evolution ?

Curiosity gears the outlook to several, including reverse direction.

The current understanding of evolution is so limited, rather one-sided, that it has been walking in the same direction since Darwin” – by this statement, one would smell out a canonical outlook where this article is going to, while the upcoming statement might then seem contradictory – “Since the Scientific Revolution, its voyage has been going deep and deeper into the Jungle of Evolution” – the attitudes of which merely reasserts my conjecture on the throbbing veins in the temple of man. Hence, this article’s category, Temple – another example where some would smell out a religious outlook but would flip on recognising the flat area on either side of their foreheads.

This article is neither to outdate the evolutionist nor to outpoll the theologist, but to outfit beyond the common question – evolution versus creation. In case the reader is an evolutionist or a theologist, please feel free to voice your suggestions on this article in the comments section.

Historically, as a force reciprocating its opposition, evolution has been dealt as a tool against religion instead of an instrument of curiosity, for the later would have by now, begun delving into superlative evolution, but instead, new efforts are being made to dig deeper, to mine proofs atop proofs, fueled by the urge to support the cause, more than to support the curiosity where we are heading towards, or whether at all, there is a destination. Accordingly, following are 5 kinds of, what I say, Intent of Evolution, as given below.

  1. Emerging – Evolution is the automated mechanism to create species in the long run, to manufacture life as we know of today. The aspect of emergence incidentally can recreate an extinct species to a similar extent through probable repetitions of combinations in mutations.
  2. Converging – Aiming for the survival of the fittest, Evolution has an ultimate goal which it approaches towards. The aspect of convergence gradually creates civilizations of increasing order and capabilities until a pinnacle.
  3. Verging – Edged by a stable existence, Evolution promotes a self-sustaining stage through un-activated or de-activated or old remnant or new dormant genes. The aspect of verge substantially puts a halt to evolutionary growth, despite the possibility of next stage in evolution.
  4. Diverging – By numerous combinatories of mutations, Evolution procreates multiple species. The aspect of divergence perpetually creates variations among species.
  5. Deterging – Extinction is a natural phenomenon for species, as inevitable is death for individuals. The aspect of detergence eventually terminates a population. Much like an apocalyptic pessimist, Evolution aims to cleanse the planet from Life, for it deems Life to be a product of an error in the planetary mechanism, that would eventually auto-correct through annihilation.

Out of these 5, what is the kind of evolution that life on earth is going through ? Or perhaps, a better question would be, which Intent of Evolution, you would prefer over the others ? Of course, given the slow pace of evolution, none of it would significantly matter to your fast paced life. Please state your preference in the comments section.
